Signings This Season

Lawlor - needs to be handed the gloves now and see how he gets on.

Sweeney - very poor and no better than what we have.

Panter - disgrace that we signed him , Nicholas Hamilton Premiership version.

Mccowan - hit or miss, to me he looks like a top end championship player (will come in handy next season)

Sheridan - get him punted now

Griffiths- pot bellied has-been

I had doubts during pre season that we had not strengthened enough for the step up but was shot down in flames by the happy clappers.

We basically kept the same team that huffed and puffed through the championship last season so this is no surprise.

We get what we f**cking deserve

I don’t think any of this seasons signings deserve anything more than a 3/10. Unless we count McMullan as he did only sign permanently this summer.

Yup I remember those excuses for Panter on here....

Why the f**k sign him in the first place eh? Had no first team experience at any level and yet,  he signs for us in the Premiership.  Absolute f**cking madness.

I just seen him as a cheap squad player to cover when needed, no idea why people expected him to play. 

I get the frustration as we should have signed proven defenders but he was never that.

But he isn’t even cheap cover, he just doesn’t play, get the feeling the kit man would start in front of him, can’t be any worse than what was being served up last night.

Plus that’s the other thing, there’s certain players guaranteed their place every week no matter how they play…..Marshall, Ashcroft spring to mind, been decent players for us, but zero competition for their places.

We had to sign someone to put real pressure on these boys, not kids from Luton who basically just fills up the bench on a Saturday.

When you see it laid out like that it is a poor bunch of signings. 

IMO, Sweeney has looked decent in spells, McCowan I think is a good signing and should be a regular starter and Griffiths should be a good signing if given the service (and he gets himself fit.). If he did end up going to Hibs, there is no way he'd be playing every week, especially not from the start but we persist with an unfit striker and leave a fit, sharp striker on the bench or hugging the touchline! Mental.

Still can't get my head round that last night. We made them look so dangerous going forward.

Their defender, Clarke, is the sort of player that's available, if managers look hard enough. A strong skillful player who plays CH usually.  You're not at Arsenal as a 20 yr old and not a good player. We were led to believe that McPake had lots of contacts from his days in England. He only signs players who he's buddies with, Griffiths,  Charlie, Cummings, Sheridan,  Dorrans etc.

Couldn’t agree more, was speaking to a fan on way down the provie about this, far too many mates at dens, far too nice, all way too cosy from top to bottom.

Still can't get my head round that last night. We made them look so dangerous going forward. 

The Ross County starting 11 looked pathetic. Even the County fans were going mental about the line up before the game.
