Evening,

First chance to add a post. I've been enjoying looking for a few days. Used to look in on Mad and did try to post after a while but there was a problem with my password and an old email address or something so never managed it. Wasn't that bothered, site was a bit slow, too many ads and was getting a bit boring with all the personal abuse.

Been following the Dees for over 50 years and had a season ticket for many years. Seen some real highs - (too young to be at Perth in 62), was at European Cup semi, Fairs Cup semi, some other great European nights, league cup win in 73, saw some great players. Seen many lows as well but seem to forget these easier.

Anyway, look forward to sharing views with fellow Dees. This looks like a really good site.

I take the points you make in the first part of your post. I have certanly found this site warm and welcoming from all posters. Free from personal abuse and no ads popping up al the time, makes viewing and posting a real pleasure. Being a newish site, I guess we are all still finding our way, in our own time. But new, good DFC members, like yourself, are coming along to the Dark Blues Site, on a regular basis. A big pat on the back to all who made it possible.

Although  I only joined  a  week ago, it looks like I have been caught up in the enthusiasm. Mind it's one of the good addictions, that make you feel better !!

I was lucky enough (old enough) to be at the '62game at Perth. That particular season and the season that followed were DFC at their best !!

Always stuck by oor club, even during the bad times.  And even, like now, when I couldn't get there to see them, they were, and always will be, my team !!
