My mate put the table together on the basis of the cheapest available tickets. I understand there may be restrictions on location and availability on some of these categories but it general we don't come out looking well, especially with the OAP and student prices.

We have the second-cheapest U12s rate but have pyssed a lot of people off by doubling the cost of kids season tickets, which are more than 100 per cent dearer than the team we're competing with for hearts and wallets.

We don't seem to have adapted to new realities with most clubs changing from u16s to u18s, or even u21s, in recognition that people stay in full time education longer before earning these days.

When you see the comparative season ticket prices above, and assuming they are correct, although there may be some argument/justification for the general increase in ticket prices, why, as BlueMonday points out, did they focus the main increase on OAP's and Students ?

No really wanting to start up another ding-dong type discussion about, increases in general.

But did the DFC explain at all how they reached this type of price structure ?

Difference with many of these is that, as you point out, these are the lowest prices for other clubs whereas we are one price fits all.

Still not good reading though.

Better just to compare behind the goal prices as every clubs behind the goal has similar facilities. Hard to compare the Derry with upper george fox or upper tic.

Dundee would come oot even worse in this comparison because of oot flat rate but fairest way of doing it.

We must be about dearest in spl.

Surprised that folk are just starting to realise.

Just had a look at Hearts prices. Their adult prices appear to be...

440 for upper section of the newer stand along the side.

350 for the upper section along the side but in the very far sections and the upper sections behind the goals.

300 for the lower section along the side and the whole mainstand.

280 for the lower tier behind each of the goals.

Average price of an adult season ticket dependent on area is therefore £342.50.
