Who'd make your best Dundee XI since 2000?

Here's mine. I wanted to get a few of the current side in but could only find space for a couple.

---------------------Douglas

McGinn---Khizanishvili---Konrad---Marrocco

Artero-----Nemsadze----Rae-----Carranza

-----------Ketsbaia----Caniggia

Caniggia

Highlights how weak our CB position has been over the years when I was considering our First Division CH's such as Weston, Palenik or players who were steady but not great like Sancho or Mann instead of Wilkie. McPake should claim his mantel this season though. Konrad is a very good defender but too shaky for my liking.

Hello Fellow Dundee FC fans ans supporters,

Taking from the history of our club on the official..........."The names of Liney, Hamilton, Cox, Seith, Ure, Wishart, Smith, Penman, Cousin, Gilzean and Robertson trip off the tongue of every Dundee fan young and old and managed by Bob Shankly, they were described by Scottish Football historian Bob Crampsey

.......................  ‘the best Scottish footballing side to emerge in Scotland since the war, better even than the Lisbon Lions."

That's all ........ ...... (sometimes living in a wee bit o' a time warp is ok...... definitely ok)

Last year at a seniors meeting we were to asked to select a Dundee 11 from players we had seen play for Dundee up to 1981 but were not allowed to pick any players from 1961-62 team. My selection was as follows :-

                                                                  Bill  Brown

                                Bobby Wilson                                     Eric Schaedler

Jimmy Gabriel            Danny Malloy            Doug Cowie

Gordon Strachan      Charlie Cooke      Gordon Wallace    Jocky Scott       Ian Redford

not a bad team did not see Billy Steel play
