But seriously

I have no faith that McPake would bring in any suitable replacements in January. He'd probably bring in a striker and maybe an ancient midfielder mate that should have stopped playing two seasons ago.

If he's out the door before then I have no faith in Nelms bringing in a manager that would bring in suitable replacements in January.

We urgently need a new manager, a new coaching team, two decent full backs, an experienced but still active midfield general (a bully) and we could use another CH to actually challenge Sweeney and Ashcroft - I'm certain that come the end of the January window we won't have any of them.

I wonder if some players will move on in January to facilitate new ones coming in.

I think Finn and Josh will return which will boost the midfield at least.

I'd offload Griffiths, his signing was never needed and just hasn't worked out.

Would rather see the younger guys get a go because it's not working with the current personnel. It's been said 1,000 times but Adam and McGowan just don't (or can't) work in the same team and too much is expected of Anderson and McMullan. Bring back Fin and Josh and, for me at least, make left back and CH the main priorities for new faces.

We do seem to be working on a restricted budget...To what end I am not sure. Does anyone?

I'm not at all sure what future big DFC plans are. It appears that if we are relegated, that's OK?

Points made in your post Prince I agree with. Not sure Cummings, Griffiths has worked out :chin:

I am concerned there is no real present plans in the way of team construction & what we may

be expected to achieve this season & in the bigger picture, where exactly is our Club heading?

Is there money being held back for the promised, eventual move to Campie...Or are they off?

(I expected a great deal from Adams, Griffith, Cummings, but it seems disjointed/not working)

Maybe time to focus on the younger guys as you say Prince. But who knows what's happening?

When is John Nelms, Next Communication/Statement due? :lol2:

Ehm getting to be an Auld man, and eh cannae live forever:chaplin:

I think we have to appreciate that in the past at this level, we were running at a ridiculous loss for most of the time and going in throwing contracts at players who weren't much of an improvement. I think we'll still spend cash and get reinforcements in but I don't think FPS will go back to how things were.

My instinct is that Ellliot, Griffiths (I could see him going abroad), Cummings and Jakubiak may depart and we'll bring in more than go out.

Think there were maybe one or two we complained about missing out on in the summer so could well be that something still materialises a bit later.

Personally not convinced on taking Finlay back right now as he's only been at Cove a few weeks and is only starting to establish himself, would be a shame to interrupt that I think. Mulligan has been flying and played nearly all possible match time since early July in all competitions so I think he'll have already taken a lot from his time at Peterhead.

Right back centre half are a must.

A midfielder who is mobile and not over 30 is needed.
