They'd be releasing statements every day if that was the case because every day seems to be a slow news day for DCT.

I bought a Courier yesterday - had a genuine reason to do it - and there's a full page on a lassie from Kirkton getting a job at Sleepersz Hotel in the town. A full page cos somebody got a job? WTAF?

Agree with what you say re slow news days for DCT but this is first they mentioned the new stadium in quite sometime so wont be an issue dropping a quick update statement. Fair enough if DCT were running stuff on the new stadium every other week, it may well be better to simply ignore and crack on with more important matters but that's not the case!

The Americans keep their cards close to their chests which makes me think the source for the story is from somewhere else.

Maybe Saints or Arbroath or the buyers for Dens?

I don't post much but I've said a lot on here about lack of communication from the Americans.

It's almost as if they are here for their own benefit ,  full stop. We fans are just a fly in the ointment.

Some of us were here before they were even born. Disrespectful; maybe that's how they do things over the pond.

Yep, but if the purpose is to raise funds for the new stadium it may be too late by then.  That said, that would worry me if such a relatively small sum impacted upon the whole project.

I am sorry but there is no way in hell I trust the current owners enough to allow them to have us homeless before a new stadium is even built. At the very least it needs to be under construction before we leave Dens.

I can’t see Bennett selling the ground back, unless there is some type of clause in the sale that Dundee football club will be playing at the new stadium, the man helped  to save our club there’s no way he will sell dens back unless it to the benefit of the club and supporters.

Just fed up of stupid press announcements that create more questions than they answer!

Personally don’t think will ever happen and happy to just ignore on a believe it if see basis but selling the ground has to be a red line!
