Beat me to it as this crossed my mind when I saw it mentioned earlier. Quite a few coaches at United were hyping him to the same degree as some of their other young talent but he's progressed a bit slower. He seems to have been mostly regular since joining Dumbarton on loan and rated well enough there. He returned from a loan at the start of the season ready to make up their first team but spent the first half of the season injured which set him back.

I'd be getting him in for summer and checking to see that there is nothing that is blatantly wrong. If all seems good and his attitude is top notch (I have no idea on his personality), we could offer him something but loan him out for at least the first half of the season so he continues to get first team football.

I saw him play for brechin against rangers on Tele and he looked decent. Bit of a hard man but can pass the ball too. Worth a look.

Watched him stroll the wee derby tonight at centre half. Tall, aggressive and a great left foot. Can also play cm and lb. Hartley was there tonight and I'm sure he'll have noticed him.
