Who could ever forget the start of David Clarkson's career at Dens?

An underwhelming signing in the eyes of many, he remarkably found the net in his first 8 games.

The highlight of those goals was surely the last of the eight.

Here's Irvine. He's going long. For Clarkson. It's McPake. Oh David Clarkson can win it here...

Any others runs worthy of mention?

Gary Irvine, the White Cafu, went from hero to zero and back to hero during his time at Dens and his cult status at Dens was confirmed during that baffling month when he became our most attacking threat scoring 4 in 7 in the middle of season 2014/15.

The highlight of that run came during the top flight's match of the season at Pittodrie.

Gadzhalov. Nicely taken down by Harkins. Stewart now. Stewart back to Harkins. Harris. Oh here's Irvine...

2005-06 was the worst in our history but there some strange runs in that.

17 year old keeper Scott Murray kept 5 clean sheets in a row. We actually had a spell where we had 8 clean sheets out of 9 between him and Kelvin Jack.

Simon Lynch also scored in his first 6 games that season.

Couple of years later Antoine Curier scored 8 in his first 5 for the club.
