Apparently he had a niggle going into the game according to George Cran, and I guess the policy of him starting was that as soon as he felt it again he was to come off immediately. Doubt he makes it for Tuesday, but hopefully managed to avoid serious issues. The man is desperate to play in the New Year derby, so he won't want to risk anything.

They didn't ask JMP during post match interview though.

I recall him walking with a limp in our last home game too. Obviously been playing through the pain barrier.

Ok sounds more than a niggle. Probably be out on Tuesday. We don't really have a replacement. Unless we play Griffiths and pull back Mullen into midfield.

Stick McGhee in there and tell him it’s the Championship, he was very good last season.

We've had to deliver without Charlie before and I'm sure we can do it again.

He will return and put in match-winning performances. Other teams in the bottom six (arguably bottom 10) can only dream of having that kind of quality in their squad.

Hopefully our work rate will win out. McMullan, McCowan and Anderson are creative. I would play Griffiths in attacking midfield in place of Charlie. He can create too. He would have to work hard though...
