Leaving LW & RW until last as those two positions are a bit of a nightmare to list poll names for. Top 2 make the squad, 3rd place makes the bench.

Vote for as many candidates as you like. Player had to have played 10 games for us to be considered. Players like Greg Stewart and Martin Boyle not included as mostly played on the wing although I realise they played up front on occasion for us. Both will be options in the winger polls.

Hemmings had a great half-season at Dundee but he only ever seems to have delivered when getting on the end of quality balls from Stewart.

Peaso was crucial in getting us up and Haber was crucial in keeping us up so I'm tempted to go for one of those.

If we're voting for ability from that list Cummings should be top but his contribution to Dundee has been minimal.

Miller would win hands-down if considering his 20 years in the game but we only saw the dying embers of his career at Dens.

Still bitter about Kano being better than Rory Loy cobra? 😂

Half a season is a bit of an insult to Hemmings in my opinion! His second spell wasn't so good but we lacked serious creativity in 19/20 that I felt sorry for our forwards due to having zero service.

Not so sure I'd consider Cummings to be top based on ability either.

Respect your views though!

Fair point JK. I did lose that Loy argument in the end!

Always liked Hemmings but just had this nagging doubt that he was dependent on Stewart's service.

I was so excited about the Cummings signing because the swagger and brilliance he showed at times for Hibs made me think he'd be a hero at Dens. Sadly it's not worked out.

I think most strikers are dependent on the level of service they get otherwise they wouldn't be plying their trade in the Scottish league tbf!

Fair point but I think we often judge a striker largely on the service they receive.

Hemmings was considered an amazing signing first time around and considered a bit of a dud the second time around. The reality of his ability is somewhere in between.

Peaso sometimes had decent service and sometimes fed off scraps but he had a habit of finding the net whatever service he had to deal with.

If we ever doubt that we are progressing as a club.......have a scroll through the names on these polls that Ludo created.

Got to give to Hemmings as he delivered for us

Danny Johnson could have been our best striker but was pushed out wide/dropped to make room for Hemmings

Special mentions to Moussa, Nade and El Bak who should all have ben cult heroes for us
