Three Wishes for the New Year

If you had three wishes for the New Year what would you wish for? With the current state of the world/country etc. and not wanting to waste them on frivolities and after much thought I would go for :-

 

1) Dundee to get their act together with a few prudent signings and storm up the League to safety.

2) Our long wait for a major trophy to end winning the Scottish Cup in style.

3) DABs to go bust and disappear without trace.

Maybe getting shot of Covid should be in the top three but I would be hard pushed to decide which of the three to displace.

Long time since I’ve posted and have resisted many times in recent months and years from having a whinge, moan or complaint.Going to treat myself to a post just because it is Christmas ….. 
If I was allowed three wishes for the New Year I’d probably hope to sort out some of the worlds many ills. However if the Derry Godmother turned up on my doorstep with her three wishes routine I’d ask her to - 

- Provide us with a Scottish Cup win 

- Develop Dens Park 

- Reinstate the passion, enthusiasm and interest in the Football Club that myself and many others appear to have lost. Continuing to attend home games purely out of loyalty, habit and curiosity is no fun. The fact of the matter is I regularly beat myself up about it, something I never thought could ever happen. 
 Sadly I don’t expect any of them to happen but having said that if I do get the magic wand I’ve asked Santa for I will be in touch. 

Hope everyone has a Very Derry Christmas tomorrow, best wishes also to each and everyone of my fellow Dark Blues for 2022.

3 wishes that had to be fitba related...

1, A new owner, someone who was business savvy and trigger happy...

2, Winning the league, with Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen, Utd and Well making up the top six, with only a handful of points between us, would be brilliant season.

3, The OF going t*ts up, Rangers could die again, this time they wouldn't be allowed back, I'm happy for Celtic just to be a new version of Hamilton.
