If Davidson is the greatest manager in St Johnstone's history (as they were saying today on Sky) then McPake's performance isn't all that bad considering it's his debut season in the top flight.

Maybe those who are saying that have been drinking, smoking or injecting (Maybe all three) substances that have altered their state of mind.

Poor manager who would have probably been punted long before now.

Has recruited very poorly for the step up to the Premiership but has also been unlucky this season due to injuries.

If he can keep us up then the season will be considered a success.

Leaving aside a couple of half decent performances, it’s been pretty woeful to date. Do I have faith in him adding what we need in the January window - in short not really. Great to be proved completely wrong, but just can’t see it.

Terrible inept manager, tactically naive, clueless tactics and a complete inability to learn a single lesson.

But maybe we will get better if he gets just a bit longer, 2.5 years and the longest serving manager in the league just isn't long enough. He just needs more time.

I actually think his signings have mostly been no bad. Especially when compared to some of the dross McCann signed.

I do trust him to get some decent new faces in the window given money

Well he's certainly the best manager Dundee have had in the last two seasons.

Watched their game today. We're pretty bad but they're a bit beyond that level right now, I was actually embarrassed for them
