Never managed to get fit with plenty opportunity given. I wonder if this will mean that Cummings stays until the end of the season.

Disappointed. Nothing seemed right about his move to us apart from a hope that he might actually find happiness and success with us. Hope Cummings gets a chance to play in our team in a role that suits him and helps us get goals.

Terrible news if true.

The last time we got a quality player on loan from Celtic was Scott Allan. He was unfit when he arrived and showed glimpses of what he was capable of before setting the league alight from February onwards at Hibs.

Feels like deja vu.

Agree about the Scott Allan similarities however I am prepared to trust McPake on this one. Hopefully there will be a better balance for our team without having Cummings and Griffiths.

I assumed the manager couldn't keep him at the club but if McPake thinks we'd be better letting him go back then fair enough, we'll see what happens.

Cummings is a big talent, Mullan has been a big success and St Mirren raved about the Jak before he came to Dens so I think there is reason for optimism, especially when we have exciting talents like McMullan and McCowan on the flanks.

Allan was not match fit or game sharpness as coaches like to say. He needed a run of games in the team and when that came he looked a player.

Griff is neither physically fit or match fit, he’s overweight to put it politely ! This is down to self discipline and motivation to bea top player.

We need someone that will put the ball in the net, Griffiths was that guy 3 years ago and 2 stone ago.

Cummings 3 Mullen 3 Jakubiak 0.

I know these type of players don’t grow on trees, but if you even get a semi decent goal scorer, then you will have a great chance of staying up.

Unbelievably, after 2 year I've still not given up hope on Jakubiak. Big last 6 month of the season for him to prove he's over his injury troubles and try and make an impact with us to get a new deal otherwise he'll be at a much smaller club next season.

Know he has the potential but it's now or never time for him.

According to morning reports it looks like he is staying with us.What I don't understand is,if we want rid of him why is it proving so difficult to do so.There is a clause to do it so do it, doesn't matter if celtic want him back or not.

I don't think it's a case of us wanting rid of him despite the media putting that slant on it. I think we're wanting to reduce our contributions to his wage and are threatening to send him back if we can't come to an agreement and it's probably a bit of a bluff on our part as we know Celtic don't want him back.

Griffiths has been a disgrace since he returned to the club.

He's had the chance to get his career back on track but he's clearly lost the motivation to get himself fit again.

His conditioning is embarrassing and a guy like him needs his small frame for speed etc.

When he first arrived I thought it would take him several games to get back into the swing of things but he came back even fatter. That to me sums up what he has become.

There have been flashes of brilliance, his rocket again Aberdeen but his overall performances have been shocking.

He's only been playing recently because we've had nobody else.

If his name wasn't Griffiths, we would consider him one of our worst strikers in recent times.
