In my late 60s and as I have posted before started going to Dens as a laddie around 1959/1960. My first ever away game and only one until the later 1960s was Muirton League winning day!

it must be a f**cking nightmare for boys your age having witnessed our glory years to sit and watch the sh**e served up now...i also doff my cap to boys born in the 70's who support us while that lot down the road did what they did in the 80's it would have been so easy to support them.

65 next month but was too young for 1962, vaguely remember my Dad going to 1964 final, and missed 1968 and 1973 finals due to strange reasons.

was there in 1980 and 1996 ? ( v Dons) and 2003/4 v Huns.

So never seen us win a trophy apart from B&Q Cup twice v Ayr and ICT. Championship trophies ( second tier) don’t count in my book.

A Scottish Cup win and a wee trip to Europe would see me happy in the High Stand.

It's in the blood Father, Grandfather and Uncles before me. Nothing would stop me supporting my club. I'm not fond of DABs as many of you will have read but I reserve my biggest disgust for those that switched over to the dark side when we started to go into decline and they were on an upturn. Just cant understand it, totally beyond me! They were the glory hunters. There have been ups and downs in the many years since. My major disappointment recently has been not kicking on from them going down and our failure to re-establish ourselves as the top club in the city and grind them into obscurity.
