A cruel pic for the Record to use. He did more good for Celtic than harm.

Sadly, he will be remembered more for his off-field antics than anything he ever did to help Celtic win all those trophies during his 8 years.

One mistake will define how people remember him, not all of his achievements over his whole career.

Which mistake?

I expect he will have to take a wage cut now if he decides to stay at Dens.

A very big one! I would offer him a low basic wage with good bonuses if he plays and scores. If he proves he still has the hunger and ability then offer him a 1-2 year deal next season.

It's way to risky to hand him a 2-3 year deal on good money now as he's had months to get fit snd hasn't done nearly enough.

Same but different a 2 year deal that is based on performance, appearances etc, with a clause to terminate based on agreed criteria.

TBH ... I got myself excited with the arrival of Griffiths...And expected more from him at this stage (Although that cracker of a goal from that free kick, was a big step in the right direction) I am still hoping, this may be start now of things to come.

Like many others on here, I'd like to think that just putting on the Dark Blue of DFC would be enough incentive, to get yourelf fit for each game ... And leave the Park at the end of 90 minutes, knowing you have give your all, for yourself, your teamates, and of course your Club.

Not just directing this at Griffiths ... But it does seem these days, that players need a bigger, monetary winning bonus,  to pull out that bit extra. In the main, loyalty & the pride of "wearing the jersey" does not fit into the equation of most of today's players.

So as suggested above, if they expect Bigger Rewards,

make sure they go out. Get those Wins) to Earn This:chaplin:
