Occasionally, when at a loose end, I stray onto Dabbie sites for a laugh or to see what strange nonsense they are currently spouting. This past weekend some on P & B etc. have excelled themselves with an outstanding display of dabbienomics. With regard to their signing of Watt they reckon he should be signed up this window but that they should not be screwed over in having to pay too much for a player they will sign for nothing in the summer. Sums of £500,000 have been discussed on the forums with most saying that that is too much and a lower sum should be sufficient.

Now turn to John Souttar's move to Rangers where they have a sell on clause varying between 15% and 50% according to some of them. One of the tubes posted that Rangers will pay £4.5m for him in this window netting them megabucks and finished the post with 'kerching' as if the money was already in Utd's account. Others actually agreed with the nutter!

The annoying thing is that Souttar will probably go to Ibrox in the window for anything up to the £500,000 that they are discussing re Watt and even at the lower end of a 10/15% sell on clause Utd will net more from the deal than we got for Kamara in similar circumstances.
