Attendance requirements

Further to the Government announcement yesterday the JRG released a statement with requirements for matches with over 1000 attendees –

While the attendance restrictions for football matches will be removed from next week, the entry requirements have been strengthened to ensure:

1. That all supporters must either a) be fully vaccinated, which will include a booster vaccine for those who had a second dose more than four months ago; or b) provide proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test.
2. That clubs must increase spot-checking from 20% of attendees prior to admittance, to at least 1000 supporters or 50% of the attendance, whichever number is greater.

Further to the above, clubs are advised to recommend that all fans take a Lateral Flow Test before travelling to the match, regardless of their vaccination status

Not even a case of starting the reserves, it's that the starters don't deserve to start. I'd have Lawlor, Mulligan and Robertson in. Maybe we have new players in, though I doubt it.

Same as every year, I want it to be the year, but not even going to bother pretending this year. If we do lose this one though... meh, nothing would change.

Have I got it wrong but from this round onwards doesn't it go to penalties, but to your question yes.

Cobra come on you should know better, did you watch Bonnyrigg rose last year, or the countless other cup ties where we should have just needed to turn up to go through but badly struggled.

I would be worried about a trip to Bonnyrigg this weekend DeeVDee because they're capable of frustrating us. Dumbarton just look so bad I would expect any team in the top two leagues to beat them comfortably.

It's their biggest game of the season. They'll be up for it no doubt and they'll hope the pitch and weather give them a chance but unless we down tools we're going to score at least 2 or 3 against that lot.

Look at their defending against Falkirk. They look like a pub team.

I've seen us struggle down there a couple of times, but you should be right unless they get the same luck that Bonnyrigg (two dodgy penalties) got at Dens last year.
