Looking at the suspension rules for the Premiership it doesn’t look like Charlie Adam will miss the derby.

They say if the player picked up the required bookings by the 19th league game, he misses a match 14 days after last booking.

Last nights match was our 21st league game.

Seems crazy but it looks like as long as you do them in the right time frames, you could pick up 12 bookings over 38 games before you are suspended.

You could be right as it surely would have been mentioned in the Courier that he was missing the Derby, can't see it in any of the reports.

I tend not to believe any of the crap promoting United, but for them to not mention a fact that denigrates us I think is unlikely.

I’ve added in the relevant bit from the rules, seems pretty cut and dry, you would have to accumulate 6 cautions within 19 games to get a 1 match ban.

No bans until after 12th league booking now. Ups to 12 after 19th league game
