I don’t want to mess about . Strongest team on park - boost fitness boost confidence - look like you’ve met before the changing rooms. Then we are in better shape for Perth . As one of the poor b*****ds who sat through Perth game earlier in the season we need that. Sorry to young lads but let’s not take any chances against Dumbarton or we could end up in an even bigger situation

I’d like to see him play, it’s probably one of our easiest games this season, so should be a good chance to give him a go. His career so far looks decent enough, has played quite a lot of football for a relatively young keeper.

McPake sees him in training everyday, so is better placed than us to judge him TBH. Some people were shouting for Panter to get a go, but sadly he was Arvid Schenk levels of crap.

Very valid points, but presumably Lawlor's capability was assessed before he was signed. Doubt the same could be said for Panter, going by his lack of appearances..

We had Panter on trial for roughly two to three weeks before he signed, so who knows. 🧐

Play the lad against Dumbarton. Let’s see what he is made of.

Some clubs put their reserve keeper in for all the cup competitions games to give then some game time, so it might be an idea to give Lawlor some games, mind you for Dundee it usually only 1 or at most 2 cup games.

I wouldn't make too many changes to the team, Byrne and Adam need to play too increase their match fitness, perhaps bring in Josh Mulligan to plat right back with Cammy at left, or play McDaid at left back if he is fit, I thought he played OK at left back/wing back when Marshall was unfit (hamstring I think) in his first season.
