Yes. We don't fight away from home and are easily overcome.

Any suggestion as to why this might be? Do you think it might be a different mindset being suggested by McPake when we play away from home? If this is the case, as the numbers clearly show, maybe McPake needs to change the tactics.

It puzzles me. We obviously come under more pressure away from home (home crowd/advantage), but maybe less pressure because our home  crowd wouldn’t  stand for it and make their feelings known. It’s got to be a mental thing. But i don’t know.

You might be right. Home crowd is expecting an aggressive performance. Our away support has always been highly praised for getting behind the team, in fact, there have been threads on here in the past where comments were made about our away support being more enthusiastic than our home support.

I think it linked to the tactics employed for an away game compared with a home game. Away we worry about losing an early goal whereas at home perhaps we try to score an early goal. Don't know but it is frustrating.

Most certainly the tactics have a great deal to do with it.

This is the league split into home / away.

Perfect mate, cheers!

As a very rough comparison, both Motherwell and Aberdeen are suffering from a similar problem as we are.  And the 2 Saints are polar opposites to us. Style of play suited to away games maybe, or just random based on how the games fell during good/bad runs?

Dunno.
