Anyway... Some of you may know my children's novel was shortlisted for the "Dundee Great War Children's Book Prize"...

Well, the news is now officially official!

How did you know I do a radio show!? 

I actually do two a week -

Saturday's are my main show, starts 9PM GMT and runs for 4hrs: I play any and every style of music you'd care to mention. If people in the chat room have requests I do my best to find and play them.

Wednesdays also start at 9PM but they are 1hr (minimum) specials featuring the music of Mike Oldfield and related artists. (Terry Oldfield, Sally Oldfield, Kevin Ayers, Pekka Pohjola, Gong, Pierre Moerlen, Robert Wyatt, David Bedford et al)

THIS saturday part of my show will be taken up with the entireity of Genesis' "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" as it turned 40 this week.

The station is based at http://www.thelook247.com (and the chat room is open to all - no need for registration!)

Oddly, lowest listening figures I've had for a long time !!

Cheers Joe - -a wee bit of googling found out my info and you mentioned Genesis in another post. My son is studying Music Technology at Edinburgh Uni and is looking for some work experience next summer (free, nae wages) - any contacts would be welcome.
