Tommy made some errors at Dens but did do some good stuff. I met him twice. Me and a pal went up to Dens to buy season tickets, 18 years old and asked for junior tickets. This was at main entrance back then as nae shop.

He heard our request and popped up behind the window and denied us our claim, quite rightly!

Another time we had gone to Celtic Park midweek and our defence had a mare, we lost 1-3 I think and on way home we stopped for a pint in Uddingston where we met the team official party having a beer. We questioned the defence with Big Tam and he defended them all the way, and why not being their boss.

Good memories and he was a European Champion!
