Alex Jakubiak Has Today Signed a Contract Extension With the Club.

Recommended Posts

Alex Jakubiak has today signed a contract extension with the club and joined Partick Thistle on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Alex joined Dundee in the summer of 2020 and has made 15 appearances for the club.

His time at Dens has been hampered by injury but he is looking to get back to his best with a run of games at Firhill after making a return to action over the last couple of months for Dundee.

His new deal will see him extend his contract until the summer of 2023. We wish Alex all the best for his loan spell and look forward to welcoming him back for next season.

Surely people see why this has happened.

We have done a swap 😏

We’d have been cheaper paying him up for this season and letting him go to Partick for feck all!!

We now have Jakubiak and McGowan who should not have been given contract extensions! We may as well announce new deals for Fontaine and Elliot to claim a full house!!

I don't think we would have got our guy without giving them our guy....

We haven't.

We could have sent Jakubiak on loan without extending his contract.

He has been at the club for 18 months and either been injured or played abysmally. There is no logical footballing reason for extending his deal.
