I never ever thought I would say this but after years of being a ST holder, watching dreadfull teams, shocking performances, inept managers and feeling the pain of every loss, Mcpake has done what I thought was impossible and made me stop caring about DFC.

It's almost like a numb feeling. In the past I was always able to dust myself down and still support the team through thick and thin, have that faith that we would come good but under Mcpake that faith and belief just seems to evaporated along with making DFC and Football as a result nothing more than an after thought for me.

Anyone else feel like that or is it just me?

Yep. After watching that absolute crap this afternoon and getting extremely annoyed at the game, I was pleasantly surprised to drive home without a care in the world. Things have gone beyond caring for a lot of us sadly. There’s not even hope we can cling to now - we’re down and deservedly so.

Of course I want to win but the days of it spoiling my weekend are over, you can see the results coming a mile away. So it's not a surprise, bought a season ticket this year. But if he is in charge next season, they can ram it.

@Napper I will always love the club, it's more the lack of emotion and indifference I now feel when we lose compared to how I felt before Mcpakes tenure. Its just a numb feeling

My son and myself are exactly the same right now. I just cannot bring myself to get excited about the club I have supported for just over 50 years.

Even when we scored today, I hardly felt anything as I knew that we would end up losing this game anyway. I have no doubt in my mind that McPake is a nice guy, but I have no confidence in his ability as a manager right now.

Every game this season, there have been question mark raised about team selections, formation and tactics. Today, we played a central defender in midfield while having at least 4 proven midfielders on the bench. He then removes the one central midfielder who was actually playing some nice football and replaces that person with a left winger and plays him in central midfield. It is decisions like this which place big question marks over someone's abilities.

This last year, I have been going through some health issues, all the infighting on the forum and with the constant bad results, I find it harder and harder to come on here and work on the forum. At times I question my sanity for wanting to do this while our board continually support a manager who is clearly out of his depth at this level.

We as a club recently keep doing the same things, expecting different results. We are always going backwards and never forward right now.

I will keep repeating myself in the hope that someone finally listens, you want most of our problems to disappear? Hire a fucking actual manager who has experience at this level and pay the chunt proper wages for doing so.

Been a fan for over 60 years, seen the good the bad and the ugly. Today was the end of giving that commitment for me. I watch games really early being US based. My whole weekends have been ruined too many times under McPake.  I  don't blame him personally, he is just not up to the task. The players seem disinterested and unorganized. Today I went from really caring to completely ambivalent. I have decided I won't watch again until we make changes. I am not a knee-jerk person so this is not a sudden decision. Numb describes it well.
