Possibly. But they seem oblivious to the predicament we find ourselves in. 

It's absolutely incredible how much money they have wasted on poor recruitment and strategy.

I know what your saying, but the Yanks will make no money without fans. They are not fans and in it for some sort of financial gain, I think! Or maybe we are just their plaything to be thrown away when they have had enough fun, when they find something new or better. And that is a genuine possibility.
