New Manager

I wouldn’t trust JN to pick a new manager but I also wouldn’t listen to any of the usual suggestions on here. Ross, McInnes, Wright and all the others that get suggested just because they are either out of a job or are doing reasonably well somewhere else in Scotland. The fact that we (and I mean virtually all of us on this forum) never give any suggestions from outwith the tiny pool of managers in or around other Scottish clubs just suggests that we know equally F all about managers as JN does. 
If and when JM is let go, I would hope there is a proper global advert and search for someone that has the experience, skills, personality, man management and broad shoulders to take on DFC. 
And also hope there is someone to help JN make that decision.

If we couldn’t even pick up the phone to offer Kevin McDonald a short term contract, then I don’t see where we’re gonna get enough money to sack and then recruit a manager though. Seems our budget is fecked tbh.

Why would any good manager in a decent Club want the Dens job?We have to choose from the out of works or from lower leagues.

Because we have a Chairman that gives them absolute power to do whatever they want and a cracking budget for this level.

If the job became vacant.. there would be no shortage of applicants.. even some decent managers would want the gig..

to be fair, Hartley walked.. McCann was sacked fairly quickly when it was heading towards disaster.. McIntyre was binned when relegation happened.. the only manager with a charmed existence has been McPake..

yes seriously..have you not noticed every time a club, any club, has a vacancy.. the amount of managers who apply?.. there's a limited amount of these jobs.. any manager who's in a lower league.. or out of a job, wants to get on and improve their chances of moving up the job ladder..

I agree , when ANY job becomes available there are some surprise applicants at any club , Dundee would be NO different. Steve McClaren's been applying for everything lately,  Tesco,Asda,Sainsburys. Mcpake's not the man for the job but sometimes when you get a manager you get fortunate,  look at Fermer Davidson or the muppet across the road , he was the messiah 1st ¼ of the season now not so much . Unfortunately for us our manager hasn't had a run of F*ck all , just S*ite coming out his mouth after games
