Online Petition or Thread on Here Calling for Nelms and McPake to Resign

Is this an idea? If we got enough people putting their name to it or agreeing in a thread that would send a message?

Not a great idea, not enough fans read this forum so the population sample would likely render the survey worthless.

Would cause an influx of Dabs registering with the forum so they could sign the petition using Dab names.

Remember how many Dees signed up to Hearts PPV as variations of Albert Kidd. We would leave ourselves wide open to the same thing.

Unfortunately Nelms is here as long as Keyes wants him here and I doubt if an online petition would change Keyes mind - even if he read it.

I think a better way to protest would be for fans to agree a structured email stating why season ticket holders will not be renewing their season ticket for next season, quote your season ticket number and seat number on your email.

Send the email to the club and to Tim Keyes direct.

If enough fans did this then maybe Tim Keyes will take notice.

Tim Keyes is a business man, it's not his emotions which will persuade him one way or another. However, if he feels his business investment is being threatened due to an unpopular manager and the fans are threatening to walk away, that will have a big impact on his decision making.

When people register on this forum, we have a filter which prevents certain words from being used as a username. So they are blocked at that level.

Also, I don't think it would be in united best interest to see us change manager right now and even if they did sign up to sign a petition, they would be doing us a favour!

Also, if there were to be a petition, I wouldn't have it on here but use an online company which would be better filtering out the shit etc.
