*aside from the obvious. Im 95% sure ive fact checked this one correctly. Which is pretty good for me.

Really enjoyed watching those St Johnstone highlights. I don't remember that game at all for some reason.

We had a few seasons where we deserved to hammer Saints but McManus then Zander thwarted us.

As expected, this one is hard so here's a clue.

What happened in these two games hasnt happened since (i dont think anyway) and has very rarely happened in the past 25 or so years. 

Yet it happened a bunch of times in the 05/06 season (Kernaghan).

Mark Stewart maybe one of two players in each game who only played once for the Dees. Cannot remember the guy at all.

Stewart played quite a few games for us.

Final clue is that what holds these games in common is something that would've occurred in most games in our history up until about 30 odd years ago. Virtually never happens nowadays.

Will reveal the answer later tonight if no one gets it.

Yeah Stewart played a season for us in the club 12 season. Scored 3 times, all at Dens.

I cant speak for the opposition but the Dee starting 11 in both games is all Scottish. You'd be surprised how rarely that happens.
