Was at both games but I’ve not a scooby what the answer is. Clues?

We had a few seasons where we deserved to hammer Saints but McManus then Zander thwarted us.

As expected, this one is hard so here's a clue.

What happened in these two games hasnt happened since (i dont think anyway) and has very rarely happened in the past 25 or so years.

Yet it happened a bunch of times in the 05/06 season (Kernaghan).

I'm struggling to figure out what game the second video is. It looks like St Mirren or County. Any ideas?

Here's the links to the two games in question. There might be a clue in here.

Final clue is that what holds these games in common is something that would've occurred in most games in our history up until about 30 odd years ago. Virtually never happens nowadays.

Will reveal the answer later tonight if no one gets it.

Ok so the fermers scored twice but had no scorers! Does that mean two own goals?
