Holloway would have been a dream appointment in 2000 but things change.

Mourinho and Benitez are impotent nowadays in the face of changes so appointing a guy based on stuff that happened in the fairly distant past is a risky business.

KT is risky but fresh in the game. If Ross isn't interested then I think might be struggling to find a stellar appointment.

If Holloway was appointed I would be fully supportive. Big character, proven manager, potentially brilliant at our level.

I suppose doubts are inevitable. Every manager comes with concerns.

That's a very interesting comment. Charlie's golden period as a footballer came at Blackpool under Holloway.

No sure we need a likeable character. Id prefer a mean bad barsteward who would turn our soft touches into fire breathing dragons, Neil Lennon might be that man.
