My Dad was a driving instructor for nearly 40 years, and this was one of his favourites to watch. Always made him laugh.

Hello again Kiwi ........ I am just after responding to your post "Powerful Songs" and I think I said in concluding, something along the lines of good songs travel well.....(.f they are good enough).

 

I think the same can be said for comedy. Although, like music, it is subjective, and changes according to our mood and tyhe fashion at the tme.

 

Some of the stuff I thought was funny just a few years ago, I think now is awful. !!

 

Mind, again .........If it's good enough it will hold up well ...............like the one above.           Funny when I saw the original .....and just as funny now.

 

( Even some of the silent movie slapstick stuff, had class about it ....... adding quickly ..... I DIDNAE SEE THOSE ORIGINALS)

Gotta agree, funny is funny, Still watch a bit of Norman Wisdom, now and again, Got most of his movies. Much prefer British comedy to that of our american friends though.
