As Gov.uk has announced to the world that Frozen is one of DFC fans' favourite films... (ahem)...

I was wondering what people's top five actually are?

(Make it 10, if 5 isn't enough!)  :)

1: ALIEN*

2: One Upon a Time in America

3: Bladerunner

4: The Empire Strikes Back*

5: Spirited Away

(6-Lord of the Rings / 7-September / 8-The Matrix*-Animatrix* / 9-The Deer Hunter / 10-Psycho-One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest-Schindler's List)  (Yeah I cheated!)

(*- Stand alone - not the trilogy/Series)

This is difficult. Cheating a bit but in terms of films I can watch repeatedly I'd go for.

Fargo/No Country for Old Men (Coen Brothers)

The Godfather/The Godfather II

12 Monkeys

Pulp Fiction/Reservoir Dogs (Tarantino)

Alien/Aliens

Annie Hall/Manhattan (Woody Allen)

Bourne trilogy

Seven

The Usual Suspects

The Silence of the Lambs

In terms of quality filmmaking I'd add The Bicycle Thieves, The Third Man, Psycho, The Shining, 12 Angry Men, Vertigo, 2001, Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, The 400 Blows, The Apartment, Don't Look Now, The Wicker Man, Secrets and Lies.

1. The Blues Brothers - I must have seen this time at least 300 times and maybe as many as 500.

2. Team America - Go to youtube and type in 'Team America sex scene uncut' for the 'bonus' material but the whole thing is a work of genius

3. Grosse Point Blank - What a soundtrack

4. Some Like it Hot - great silliness

5. Das Boot - head and shoulders above every other submarine film

1 and 2 are always in my top 5 but the others are interchangeable.
