Took far too long in getting rid of McPake and then when we do, it’s after the transfer window closing. We only have 2 strikers in our books and a side that comprises mainly of players who struggled in championship. McGhee is not anyone’s number one choice, but I don’t think any credible manager in their right mind would have come to us under those conditions.
