First, I am in the 'underwhelmed' camp at the appointment of the current manager.

The bench against Livingston had, arguably, our five most effective players - Adam, McGinn, McMullan, McCowan and McGowan.

I know all the arguments about players being over the hill but you really have to look at what they can offer over, not necessarily, ninety minutes.

The most secure, ok that's debatable, our defence has looked has been with McMullan and McCowan supporting their full backs as well as offering a potentially potent attacking option.  That would leave us with who is going to to fill the two or three central midfield spaces and I'm not offering an opinion on that.  Our two youngsters, Anderson and Mulligan were just passed by in the game and that is no criticism of two very good talents.  It was just one of those games.

Survival is still there.  Remember back to Jim Duffy's days when we were comfortably seventh after the split, never won another game and were relegated on the last day. so, equally, a couple of scrappy wins next month and five wins then might just do it.🤞🤞

Our car groaned when we saw the team. All the creativity was on the bench. McGhee admitted on the radio that his plan was to be solid and robust then maybe bring the bench on. . He blew it big time. Football is simple, play your best players. Anderson and Mulligan were thrown under a bus yesterday.

McGhee mucked up big time. Obviously thought he had a tactic that would contain and frustrate Livi then the big guns would be unleashed with 30 minutes to go. No Dee looking at that team selection felt comfy at kick off and it turned in to a right mess quickly. Is McGhee lying when he says he's studied all our matches and looked at all the stats, clearly not beacuse the players haven't played the system and clearly can't.

We can’t leave are best players on the bench, simple stuff really.

Exactly, mans a dinosaur, and trying to reinvent the wheel. Everything the Stockport fans said, is now coming home to roost.
