What's Happened to the Forum?

Sorry to spring the new look of the website and forum today.

We have been working on a lot of new features and plans for next season, but due to the changes between the themes and the new features breaking the site with the old themes, I thought I would just change over now and make like easir for myself.

Over the last few months I have been updating and optimising a lot of the forum and website, hence the reason why things have been up and down recently. We have used a lot of the money raised via Adverts and donation to purchase new themes and other features to make working on the forum a lot easier. This way we can concentrate on the content rather than the look etc.

There is now a proper dedicated light, dark and night mode for the forum. And you can switch between each using the button on the userbar above.

There are also a lot of other new features which will allow you to change backgrounds, font sizes, sticky menu etc etc. You can change these settings clicking on the  button on the menu bar.

If you have any pictures of inside and outside Dens Park that you would like to use as a background, please post them here and I will try and add as many as I can.

If you have any questions or issues with the new look, please let me know.

Hi mate, just a quick one. I find it's much easier to view on a phone in night mode. In the "day mode" you can't see posters username, just their avator. Think it's just a clash of colours between the username text and the background. Hope that makes sense.

I will have a look at that now and fix it.

There is also a Dark mode which can be selected from the themes link at the bottom of the site.

Sorry but changes are terrible. It’s messy, complex and I prefer clean simplicity. It’s put me right off.

Cheers bud. Aye that's wjat I meant, I'm using the dark mode theme. It's easier to view IMO.

I think it looks pretty stylish. Changes can be jarring though and background images are a no-no for me.

Click on the and you will see the backgrounds, click on the 'Light' and you will the same background without any image etc.

Heavy colour takes longer to download. Keep a white background for us old b*****ds. The tool bar area is blue on blue, aaagh.

As you can see, you have the ability to to choose the background you want to use from that menu.

All the old backgrounds from our previous themes are there. Light, Dark and all the logo images. The dark background is just our default and it shouldn't take that much longer as the image has been optimised for quick loading.
