Jordan Timmons?

Was in our 2009/10 squad and never played a game for us.

What other players have we forgotten about and wondered how the hell they ever got signed? We could start off with the McPake era and all those player we were like:

Why did they get signed?

Bit harsh - Jordan was a bairn and never likely to get a start at that time. He came through the youth ranks like hundreds of other kids across the country do every year.

Never heard of him mate. I tried to find out more but that was all the info I could find. might be wrong, end up in the Juniors league?

Dieng, Wright, Robson and O'Sullivan are all doing well enough for themselves. Nelson has been plagued by injuries his whole career but was also a good talent.

Could see thought of Dales and Horsfield (Man City academy graduate who'd played Dutch top flight - you could see quite clearly he was technically decent) too, even if not up to it.

R McGowan as well was an experienced guy at our level and even though pace had gone, he was lighting quick relative to O'Dea and was one of best defenders in league in the air.

It was all just throwing shit at the wall trying to make things stick with a revolving door, the guys coming in had quite a hard time of it that season. Even someone like Ryan Inniss is performing at a good level now and doing well for himself.

McIntyre's style of football just went too far the other way from McCann's that season and I think he probably made too many enemies in the dressing room with the way he reacted as the window opened in Jan. There were two or three (Benji Kallman and Boyle IMO) who weren't performing well but we'd have gotten more from with a bit of time rather than replacing them for new guys of similar ability coming into same problem.
