Christian Nade is one. Would have done better than the Tank in the top flight IMO.

That is quite remarkable. We signed him at that age and he became a title-winning legend. Great decision by Shankly.

Kevin McBride got quite a lot of stick from other fans before he arrived and was seen as a pretty poor signing at the time IIRC, Falkirk fans were quite bitter then after it never worked out at Hibs, he'd had a few short term deals in the First Division and wasn't well thought of.

He clearly had something but injury just hurt his career at his prime so he didn't really live out the top flight for us much when we got back there. I thought he was very good in the league winning season and as important as Rae.

Really enjoyed him in goal for us. Had some kick as well.

Pity he had to ruin it at the end with that stunt he pulled.

If he had a brain, he could have been phenomenal and played for almost anyone, and have received god knows how many caps. Such a talented guy, but truly mental.
