Assuming Nelms see's sense and give's McGhee and Rusk the boot.. perhaps he should do it ASAP?.. I saw a bit on the news today that McInnes was top of the betting for the manager's job at Hibs.. So he took Killie up.. but, if offered, it can be argued that Hibs are the bigger club.. Many on here want Jack Ross as manager.. there's no evidence that he'd want the job at Dens.. never mind conflicting opinions amongst the fans.. Anyway, back to the argument.. McInnes get's ? takes the job at Easter Road.. leaving a gig at Kilmarnock.. a club just promoted with all the optimism and extra funds that entails... meanwhile, Nelms fannys around.. A decent managerial prospect is snapped up by Killie... Surely, the head honcho at Dens needs to smell the caffeine and bin McGhee and his sidekick...and get someone in so we can hit next season running..?

Good question at the end. But he hasn't smelled any coffee  prior to managerial appointments up until now. McGhee  stating he would like to stay as Dundee manager in the press. God help us if Nelms allows that.  But who would bet against it? Anything is possible when the man from Texas is involved. And usually he surpasses his previous worst.

Nelms will do his usual dithering, with no forethought of the implications. The club and fans will inevitably have to accept the consequences of his ineptitude, because he holds all the cards and knows we are fecked without their investment. It really is a sh1t state of affairs at the moment. If he surprises us all and does the right thing, by appointing a seasoned manager who the fans can get behind, and gives them a decent budget to revamp a squad, that desperately needs it. I will type a post completely naked, just like always.

I'm nor sure it is so important to get someone actually in situ now, we can do a deal with a start date of end of season. For all we know it's already in motion. 

Of course, knowing Nelms it won't be!

I wouldn't recommend making that kind of pledge. I vowed to run naked around Dens if a shot-shy Dundee team scored 3 goals in a game. We then put 3 goals past Ayr and I was asked to fulfil my promise. I didn't follow through.

It's the kind of comment, that can be made by individuals, withoot thinking.

That can easily lead to an embarrassing situation, if you're left on your own.

It's better if it's "Community Type Pledge"...Then ye can hide in the middle
