Would This Decision Really Affect Next Season's Attendances/season Ticket Sales?

Recommended Posts

"Supporters are screaming out for someone they can get behind to bring the club forward again.

But, I think they should be prepared in case it is Mark McGhee once more"

This quote is from Lee Wilkie's Article in the Courier...

It may be slightly out of context. But as I read it, it seemed to me that he is trying to fight hard in McGhee's Corner....Making assumptions that it could well be MgGhee in his present role (as he feels this is the way things are looking) And on top of that, I felt, he was hinting strongly (maybe not endorsing) that this might be the way to go...As he did alright (I'm paraphrasing & maybe misreading this a bit)....

If you've no access to online courier ( like me) someone might explain how you can read/copy it.....

This kind of catastrophe can surely not be allowed to happen!!

Now a straight forward question....

A YES OR NO ANSWER WILL SUFFICE, IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO COMMENT...

Will you buy a Season Ticket? Continue to regularly attend? Pick /choose your games? Or  may be totally give up DFC?

If JN puts out a statement saying "We are extending Mark mCGhee's Contract"

A season ticket will not be far off £400 next season and cost of living & inflation is horrific right now, the likelihood is we'll enter a recession pretty soon.

If there's not some type of feel good element going into the summer, sales are going to be pretty grim. McGhee hasn't worked here and he's not had a good summer rebuild of a playing squad since the 00s. I don't think his biggest fans who watched his good Motherwell sides would look at us and seriously argue he should be coming in.

It'll piss pretty much everyone off before we've even got to a difficult summer!

I won't renew if it is McGhee. He has been part of this dreadful mess, caused by John Nelms.  McGhee needs cleared out. I could just about stomach him in a holding position until Ross was available, but him and Rusk brought no wins to the table. Dreadful to watch.  I suspect that I wont be alone if Nelms pulls that one. The really concerning its that none of us would be surprised though, if he did.

Been a season ticket holder for as long as I can remember but if those 2 are still in charge next season, I’m out.

Might be a relief cos it would mean I wouldn’t feel obliged to turn up to every home game if we were rubbish, like I currently do. Would still go but start to pick and chose matches.

Big decision for John Nelms. I think it would hit season ticket sales quite a bit.

They should be off loaded as soon as relegation is confirmed, probably tonight.
