How Are We All Feeling?

Recommended Posts

I'm fine today, looking forward to the Championship challenge and a new boss.

It would have been a lot more devastating if we'd gone down at the last gasp today. The Hibs win has eased the pain a bit.

Mind you I've seen us relegated eight times now, a Premier record by some distance we'll no doubt hold forever!

I’m cautiously optimistic that if Nelms is taking a sideways step to oversee non football related jobs and Strachan is going to be a full time director of football then we might, just might, start to see positive shoots of recovery and a clear plan for success and succession going forward. However, whoever is appointed at Manager or First Team Head Coach will go a long way to the optimism gaining momentum or if it’s another false dawn!!

From the depths of despair during the McPake reign, followed by the awful appointment of McGhee, recent club statements enable our fans see a chink of light in the gloom. Normally this is where Nelms gets it wrong and our shoulders slump in despair. Hopefully this time he gets it right and we can face the future with a bit of hope.

I'm looking forward to next season as I always do.  Fresh start and high hopes as per usual and feeing let down after the first half-a-dozen games as usual no doubt!

Just to throw this in to sign off the season, and it's a bit of "If my granny had baws...", but IF Aberdeen had beaten Saints last midweek as of 10 minutes to go yesterday we were in the play-off spot.  Wow!
