Buy a season ticket not knowing who will be managing us and who's gonna be binned after an abysmal season

Typical Dundee fc marketing somehow can't see a big queue snaking down the Bobby Cox for these season tickets

Does anyone really decide after seeing who the manager is?

Yes, me and many others I've spoken to who have had enough of forking out a decent sum of money for the garbage we've been subjected to.

Just asking the question, have you ever actually done that and which managers stopped you buying a season ticket?

I've bought multiple season tickets every season for at least the past 20 years. In my time supporting Dundee things have been better and they've been worse but I've never before contemplated not going because of a manager and I've never had the feeling of malaise that I currently have toward the club as a whole.

So, no I've never done that previously but am absolutely prepared to do it this season if e get another project manager. Of course I'll renew if it's a proper, experienced and historically competent manager that comes in.

So in summary you've never done that before, ever?

You  clearly see then why I asked if anyone actually does that because year after year of failure fans say the same thing, and then buy no matter who it is.

Which managers within our reach would actually fit your criteria given the level we play at?

Honest now mate are you at it? Just because I've never done it before doesn't really mean I won't do it now does it? Nor does it mean that the others in the same frame of mind who also feel disenfranchised from the club will do it - of course some will renew regardless and many will renew when they see the new manager in place because he (or she) will fit their personal criteria.

I don't have a name and I don't have knowledge of who will apply for the job, if applications are actually being sought and considered for a change. All I've done is state a very loose and very 'normal' in my view minimum criteria for the person I'd consider suitable in order for me to spend the season ticket money.

If you want to continually challenge me and others on our reasons for saying we've had enough then fair enough but you really should do so without judgement and without instant dismissal of the reasons given.

If only you could read.

Go back and see what I actually said. I doubted that people actually do that and in fact you confirmed that you never have.

I accept that you are doing it this time. I don't much care whether you do or don't but was interested in which managers would secure your purchase.

You chose to answer my original assertion so stupidly I presumed it was a conversation, clearly that's not the case so happy to not ask again.

i hope the club appoints a manager that meets your selection criteria even though you yourself can't say who that might be. Tough job for them don't you think?

I've also had enough but I'm not going to kiddy on that the gross incompetence of those in charge will stop me supporting my club.
