Famous last words but have a wee hunch St Johnstone would implode if they come down this summer. Squad signed up on paper looks pretty pish and think it would be a hard rebuild and summer of infighting.

Also think it's a good fixture when we're in the second tier and more meaningful.

Could see Dodds doing well with Inverness next season and tormenting us a bit if they are down.

I personally hope st Johnstone stay up and it's Inverness we are facing next season ( yes I know our record against Inverness is terrible) but I just feel next season would be tougher against st Johnstone.

St Johnstone fans are used to top flight football and the reaction to the Kelty defeat suggests they would turn on their team quite quickly if they had a poor start.

Caley are used to playing at that level and their fans are quite patient. They are bound to challenge at the top and cause us problems so I think I'd rather see how St Johnstone cope with playing in the second tier. Like you say, they might implode.

I hope Inverness go up and St Johnstone come down. We have never won a league match at Inverness and I can’t be arsed travelling up there.

First leg is on Friday night and second leg is on Monday. Both games live on Sky.

Which outcome is preferable?

Are the games not on BBC Scotland?.. as for who I want to win?.. I don't really care.. Get a decent manager in.. give him a reasonable budget and, let whichever club loses the play off  games battle with the other 8 in the division for a play off spot..

That's annoying, I quite enjoyed the Friday night Championship live games.. I binned Sky Sports during the pandemic and haven't missed it..

Don’t care TBH.

I can’t buy into any rivalry with St J, I know they hate us, but I couldn’t care less about them. I do dislike both the Highlands teams, but that’s more a reflection on how bad we are against them, than anything of substance really.

If I had to pick, I’d rather see a sad Billy Dodds, than a happy BD. Yep, he irritates me that much.

It is the case, it is NOT on BBC Live...But popped that in,

(As some non sky subscribers might pick up FREE stream)

On the point of who do I want to win the play-off Final, I am not sure.

If we can get our house in order we should not be fearing any of them
