  1. 1. Who would you like to join Dundee in the Championship next season?

Since winning at Tannadice in October, the fermers away record is dire. W1 D4 L11. That includes a defeat at KT's Kelty.

ICT appear to be hitting form at the right time. They've won 5 and drawn one of their last six, conceding just once in the process.

You'd have to fancy Caley to gain an edge tonight.

Could somebody on here, please tell me whit club/team I should be cheering on tonight?

I mean ONLY from Dundee's perspective....So what club will be less a challenge to DFC?

St J may go into some kind of meltdown if they go down so to some extent may be an easier rival but I have a feeling they won't and, whilst they won't do a Hearts, will be up there challenging. I'm basing this purely on how they set themselves up and go about their business.  ICT are much more of a known quantity albeit a concerning one.

Just for the banter I'd like to see Saints drop but once that wears off I may regret my choice.

In short - who know, gedee?!

Appreciate HK yir rapid detailed response ... No quite sure just why I'm getting so over-obsessed with the game tonight. As obviously it should be a case of "first things first" And we're still waiting on new of New DFC Manager, & it's gonna be long time yet, before we start wondering, who is the bigger threat for Dundee next season...

I'll probably start watching the game with an "open mind" and decide as the game progresses.

Could be guided by the "professional, media presenters/commentators"

Or even check with "my voices" who recently have abandoned me:chaplin:

Not really, I watched both games against Arbroath and Caley are just awful. Form goes out the window in this type of game and I think The Penny Daintees will be a bit too strong for Caley.

Maybe but I think every team looks awful against Arbroath. The Red Lichties had 22 clean sheets last season. They are brilliant at turning football matches into non-events.

Just looking at where Dundee's points came from and we did quite well against St Johnstone and some of the bigger clubs.

Taking 1 point out of 21 against Livi and County was shocking though.

St Johnstone 5
Hibs 5
Hearts 4
Aberdeen 4
Motherwell 4
St Mirren 4
United 2
Livi 1
County 0
Rangers 0
Celtic 0

It's quite impressive that St Johnstone managed to avoid automatic relegation after scoring 24 league goals all season. Only once this century has a top flight team scored fewer than 24. That was St Johnstone in 2010/11 when they scored 23.
