We apparently paid Palace £350,000 for Fan Zhiyi in 2001. He played a few games and offered very little. When he went the World Cup a year after signing it wasn't clear if he was still a Dundee player. The whole situation was quite baffling.

64 games over 3 seasons isn't all that bad though.  He had the nickname Mince Mennie which was probably a wee bit unfair.  He'd be in line for POTY nowadays!

Totally agree..

mind he Scored against Celtic on a freezing midweek game which we won 2-0 ( infact it might have been a double ? Canny Mind)

I don't remember that one but I do recall him scoring against them in a 4-1 win but that was on a Saturday.

I do remember Ray Stephen getting a double against them in a midweek 2-0 and it was Baltic - probably the coldest I've been at a match.
