Apology regarding Religious Remarks made on this forum.

On behalf of the Dark Blues forum and the staff member, I would like to make it very clear that we do not approve or tolerate any form of racism, intolerance or personal abuse towards other members in anyway whatsoever.

As someone who's family immigrated from Ireland, who also has family/friends who are Catholic and Dundee supporters, I could have taken the posts a certain way, but choose not too. However, this doesn't mean I condone the comments made on this forum and I would like to apologise to any one who was offended in anyway by the comments posted yesterday.

These type of comments do not represent this forum on any level.

I'm glad you removed that thread @TheDarkBlues. I certainly wasn't offended in any way but definitely felt that things were not right. There's a trend developing which is sad to see. We always say that as Dee's we stick together through thick and thin but right now things are pretty thin but I've no idea what to do bar offer advice. That advice I know has been seen as criticism which it isn't. I'd like to think that the Dark Blue community can offer advice, assistance or maybe just a wee bit of protection. The forum can at times be unforgiving and sometimes that's too much when things maybe aren't on an even keel. At the end of the day we all go through up's and down's and we don't always know what's going on with another when face to face never mind from behind a laptop.

I didn't see the remarks myself but, historically Dundee FC has never been a sectarian club, despite attempts by some in the media to paint us that way.  It has always welcomed those of all faiths or none.  I would hope those involved would reflect on what they wrote and be more considerate in future.  Well done TheDarkBlues for posting an apology
