Good luck James and I’m in no doubt he will lead them to the title this coming season.

He'll do well there IMO and should comfortably lead them to the title.

That's what he was hoping for right enough.

He's just not convinced McPake's that manager.

From my perspective, and there are no guarantees, I've said to him that McPake would be a good appointment if he does actually go there. Mate just keeps pointing out that McPake got Dundee promoted despite himself and that the squad he left behind was very poor so he's not confident.

Have a lot of time for McPake. Wish him all the best, and hope he shuts up all the doubters. A good appointment for both parties. 

To be honest, we've no idea how he'll do but hope he learns from his Dundee mistakes.

He has gone to a League One club so its not that crazy an appoinment. You'd hope that the experience he has gained along with the budget he will have makes him a reasonable choice at that level.

Even if he wins League One, I dont think that will be enough to prove he has what it takes to be  a good Scottish Premiership manager.
