Premier Sports Cup group fixtures

Dundee will start the 2022/23 season with a match against Hamilton Accies at the Kilmac Stadium.

The SPFL released fixtures for the group stage of the tournament this afternoon and the opening fixture sees Hamilton travel to Dens on Saturday, 9th of July, kick off 3pm.

The following weekend it’s a trip to face Stranraer on Saturday 16th, kick off 3pm.

Queen’s Park provide the next opponent as we face them away from home on Tuesday 19th, kick off 7.45pm.

Finally the group fixtures conclude with a home match against Forfar Athletic on Saturday 23rd, kick off 3pm.

Premier Sports Cup draw:

The draw for the Group stage of the Premier Sports Cup was made this afternoon.

We have been drawn in Group H alongside Queen’s Park, Hamilton Accies, Forfar Athletic and Stranraer.

Fixtures will be released in the coming days.

Match-days are as follows:

• MD1: Weekend of July 9/10
• MD2: Midweek of July 12/13
• MD3: Weekend of July 16/17
• MD4: Midweek of July 19/20
• MD5: Weekend of July 23/24

That's as good as it gets, our two home games are both on a Saturday as is the long trip to Stranraer. What looks to be the toughest game first and Forfar at Dens last game if we still need points to go through.

Reduced prices for the games please, let's start the season on a positive with a decent sized crowd and a couple of wins.
