Thank you Ludo...

Watched it all & I was impressed all the way. Thought he came over as very much up-front and honest & wore his heart on hs sleeve (which I like) Have seen him before on tv in the company of others, when he's taken on a "quieter role" It was good he had the time & space there to give eveyone a better insight to the man.

Looks to me Dundee might have been too hast in reaching the decision to let him go.

Jings he fairly rattled off a few names of managers & players...Definitely a man with more than a few friends & "contacts" which he has got to know in his successful career....Hope he goes on to further successes, even if it's not with us.

The more I think about Charlie Adam (Especially after his appearance) ... As well as the continued chaotic state (again) we appear to be in, on the manager selection front, it seems to me, we've lost out here, on a decent prospect & have let a good man go...Maybe it's not too late for them to do a turnaround?

I'm not saying he's the "perfect fit"....But frankly it doesn't matter what I or others think of him, I honestly believe with his "open stlye" honest approach, wide experience, love & respect of DFC & fellow players, he would soon find the right way to get the best out of them...I am not saying he would be a perfect fit for the manager role at this time. But I do think he'd grow & develop into this new position and maybe even from the start, get the full backing of his players.

If this is not to be, I will say this...Although it appears this selection process is not going well, I honestly do NOT believe, that when it comes to announcing new manager, JN/DFC, will try to "palm us off" with some new untried, unknown manager, they may try as usual, to attempt to do, an overselling job on him to boost season ticket sales & future attendances...But, if they do try to go for "the cheaper option" & get this wrong, there is no way this time DFC Fans will not see through this. And this will be reflected vey obviously when it gets to ticket sales.

In my view after the pain, suffering, & disappointments of recent seasons, they really have to get this right this time. Without even trying to sound over-dramatic, the new appointment has to be someone, the fans & players have faith in. We all know that a successful season in the championship is not going to be a formality. We need a manager who knows this, makes sure his players know this. And knows how toget the best out of his players.

Come on Dundee Get this Right (If it's a tough as it seems to get the right man just now, then get a caretaker manager in place, until the right man is available) As most on here after reading ths post think Im gonna mention "Charlie Adam" again ...Then eh better do so ;)

Charlie Adam, or even Gordon Strachan (On a temporary basis)

With an opportunity for Permanent Position; MON THE DEE :chaplin:

Thanks Aberdee for your positive response/comment (especially as it's early in the day)

Whatever I (or others say) on managerial situation is unlikely to affect JN/DFC decision.

But  final decision by them, will have a huge effect on the Club/Fans future attendances.

Glad to hear freend, you took as much from CA interview as I did. Occasionally, we read

comments from some posters attempting to judge potential managers on presentation.

This is fine (imo) as long as they don't try to judge a person's managerial capabilities on

how articulate they are in this situation...We don't need a long memory to look for a past

DFC Manager (a decent fella) who was very much at ease with the fancy words phrases.

But may have had some trouble engaging with all his players (where their meaning may

have got lost in the transmission process) :chin:Fitba Players are like life/us ... A Big Mix.

My feeling is; With Charlie, you get what you see. No Dishonesty or Hidden Messages.

And this was more apparent watching the whole interview. He's sensitive & intelligent.

How come nearly everybody says no thanks to a rookie manager appointment and yet some here think Charlie would be ok?

there you go

What you confused about @dblair? I rephrased what my mind was trying to ask in first instance and I already said I'd not made it clear.
