Anybody Kean on Steve Kean ?

Recommended Posts

Just been going through his Bio and he certainly has some experience for the job . I mind him at Blackburn Rovers and he had to fly weekly to India to give a report to the club owners and too also receive instructions.

If he is Kean enough ( no pun intended) he might an interesting appointment and wouldn’t be distracted by flying half way across the world every week .. unless Tim has other ideas 😉

Not sure if the following link is gonna help anyone, who disnae know so much about the detail of his background, come to any conclusions...

But at least the article of the this much travelled & widely experienced man is a long enough read, to give me a wee break from DBF updates every twa minue (since aboot 6am every morning) for more exciting news aboot DFC' s new potential manager....

I think eh may have reached the "numb stage of this managerial appointment process.

So nae idea aboot any of them. But if others have any news/ideas/views, keep posting.

His behavior during his time at Blackburn left a lot to be desired. Getting caught in pubs chatting shit about staff and ex-staff, the backstabbing of Allardyce etc. Also done for drunk driving before aswell. Generally comes across as obnoxious too.

No thank you.

I knew nothing of any of this Mr. G. (no surprised he didnae say anything aboot a' this in the link)

But although the travel aspect offers "experience" which is no' a bad thing, I did feel concerned ato why he couldna appear to settle, and was lookng for another move after only a short time at Hibs. Think I'm inclined to agree with you & Seb, So hope JN & GS can control their excitement. After waiting all this time, we are as well waiting longer to do it right (imo) and make do with a caretaker manager until we find the permanent manager that both DFC & us can get behind.

I know I mentioned again Charlie Adam & was shot down by many (& that's okay)

But those that did, seemed to suggest he 'd make a good coach but not manager.

Would it be worthwhile suggesting caretaker role to him? Maybe he'd surprise us.

And on that (just to clarify/emphasise a point) It was because of the stage we had

reached in this process, fae potentially high ranking prospects to near desperation

I put forward CA's name. IMO he showed in his interview a range of mgr. qualities.
