Managerial Expectation 22/23

Interested in everyone's expectations for our new managerial team.

What will be an acceptable first season and what is required if Bowyer is granted a second season and beyond ? I suppose I should also ask what would be unacceptable for 2022/23 ?

He was brought here to get us promoted. Surely anything less would be considered a failure in many fans eyes.

Looking at the league,  minimum would be the title with this group of players and some additions.

Next season a total clear out and sign players who will actually keep us up.

Promotion, , create a hard to beat side with a view to the Premiership, strengthen in next two windows especially next summer for the step up, get to next stage of League Cup as minimum, no Scottish Cup shock and if  we do get the OF we don’t ship six goals.

Don't care about style of football. Will accept eye bleeding stuff if it gets us a comfortable promotion.

I guess he will have Jordan Rhodes high on his list of potential signings.  A prolific goal scorer for us.  Not the best (sh!te) at getting back, and runs like a lass but he knew how to score goals.

Bowyer is a big fan of Rhodes and they are good mates.

He does not need the dosh.  He would do a more than decent job for a couple of seasons. He likes to play and has had little opportunity for the last 3 years, he also likes to play for Bowyer.

Pre season is usually quite tough for the relegated team but I think we've got a good number of players here and it's a smaller rebuild than usual.

I'd say we're well ahead of our last two stints in this league. Year 1 we were a total shambles and had to start again pretty much, don't think expectation to challenge was realistic. Year 2 we just about scraped 2nd and whilst not expecting to win the division, did very poorly point wise to be so far behind with league how it was.

I'd be disappointed if we were far off 70 points. Sounds a harsh target but I think we do genuinely carry the tag of being relatively strong favourites in this league, probably more so than anytime I've watched us.

Win the league, the Scottish cup, then European domination the following season in all honesty I just want us to get promoted and be fit and actually look like a team
