The News, Comments, Updates, Ambitious Plans, etc, from DFC & Our New Manager appear to be non-existent. I am NOT blaming Gary Bowyers for any of this. I am putting this full responsibity on DFC & probably more specifically on John Nelms & Tim Keyes. After reading all the fanfare around appointment of JR next door on the media etc (I never read their forum) I am begining to wonder with all this silence...If we really do have a new manager !!

We all know that United (sorry to mention their name) seem to be in a much better position with fiinishing in the upper part of the Premiership, repeating continuously, their dreams (however unlikely) of doing great things in Europe and (although possibly just "paper talk") making sure that anyone & everyone, everywhere, knows of their great ambitious plans for their Club's future...

It's easy enough to say (& maybe justified) for any posters on here to say, I don't give a damn, or want to hear anything at all about "thon ither lot" But the fact is, maybe because of what appears to be their much stronger position, they do make sure they alone, hog on to, ALL the positive publicity (& even if at times it's all make-believe, or simply turning what should be shitty news, into something portrayed as "really positive"

"Buzzing Jack Ross" is  definitely caught up in this publicity & at this time anyway, leading from the front

If we are behind "them" on a general level or even any level, then it is up to DFC (JN & TK specifically), our new manager, our players, ourselves, to work harder, put in more effort to do something to change this situation.

Most Fitba Fans are more on the daft side. But compared to that lot we are at least "normal"

It is time we raised our game. Our New Manager may be the new ticket towards our success.

But he needs the backing of the CLUB...Think J. Nelms has again entered his "silent period"

Although, that said, I am not sure I can listen anymore to "JN's empty words & false promises.

I'm asking Tim Keyes & John Nelms to actively get right behind GB (& DFC fans) Time is now.

All Time, Work, Effort, Money, should be spent getting right behind DFC (GB)

Action speaks louder than words JN. Get Focus on DFC's Promotion Plans.

I feel as if I've seen (not watched them all, naturally) more interviews with Jack Ross over the road in his 2 days in charge than I've witnessed any communication from our new manager. Not that it should be anywhere near the priority list, but we used to get little videos of training montages and everything. All been very hush hush so far except a couple of photos, 30 second clips and the initial press conference.

It'd have been good if we got a wee virtual tour of the new facilities and stuff as well. Just little things like this by the media team would further interest in the fan base and crucially be that little thing that helps excites the fans during the close season to actually purchase a ticket be it a season ticket or for a friendly!

We do need to be much more proactive on social media and Deetv. 

Teams like Motherwell and United are far better at this than us. 

Part of the problem is a lack of staff behind the scenes. United have got 2 or 3 people to do the work of 1 person at Dens.

Nelms won't recruit anybody else...Tommy (it appears) does the whole shooting match! Not ideal.

Lower league clubs rely on volunteers. Not ideal, and as a FT club we shouldn't really be relying on volunteers for this sort of stuff (it's a bit poor tbh), but I'd imagine there's plenty of students who'd love that sort of opportunity.

Loads on Twitter too, including pics, vids. And on FB. You cannae win, but I agree it should be integrated and also on club website.

I m away on holiday and I am seeing the training vids so it’s not hard.

a wee update with new boss would be good tho and a tour of Gardyne without having to buy the Courier.

Maybe nearly everyone goes on Twitter, Facebook etc, for updates (I use neither)

 Used to automatically check out DFC Official Site on a Daily Basis, as I do on DBF.

Now  once a week (if I remember). Or pop over if directed/suggested by our forum.

I'm also a signed up Member of DeeTV & just a few days ago I checked the videos,

hoping to see players/ mgr/coach in training. Going through their paces...Nothing !!

We've had McCann, McPake and McGhee regularly spouting pish in the media over than past few seasons (he who shall not be named a bit quieter).

If I hear nothing from Bowyer all season but we get performances, wins and have the season we all hope for I'll be happier than if he spouts the type of pish those guys did.

I don't use Twitter and don't have any DFC related stuff on my FaceBook feed. I rarely look at the official site either because it's got very little content worth reading.

I get all my DFC news from here.
